The Acer Dynamic Lathe series are high-speed, precision-geared head engine lathes renowned for their robust construction, exceptional durability, and precision engineering capabilities.   • Robust Construction: The headstock and bed are crafted from high-tensile FC25 or thermal-treated Meehanite cast iron, which undergoes an annealing process to prevent deformation and ensure lasting rigidity and durability. The bedways are hardened and ground to Rockwell C 55, further enhancing wear resistance.
  • High-Performance Spindle: Featuring powerful motors (ranging from 3 HP to 15 HP depending on the model) and precision taper roller bearings, the spindle system offers a wide range of speeds for versatile material processing. Spindle bores are available in various sizes (e.g., 2-1/4", 3.1", 4.53") to accommodate diverse workpiece diameters.
  • Precision Gearing: The headstock features hardened and ground alloy gears, and a uniquely designed universal gearbox allows for a comprehensive range of inch and metric threading without the need for changing gears.

  • Enhanced Durability: Key sliding surfaces, such as the saddle, are coated with Turcite-B for superior wear resistance. An electro-trochoid pump force-feeds lubrication oil to all internal headstock components, minimizing maintenance needs.
