All ALMACO welding tables are precision-engineered to a flatness tolerance of ±0.02 inches. This level of accuracy ensures consistent, repeatable results for frame fabrication, structural welding, and any application requiring precise 90-degree angles or tight dimensional control across the work surface.

The standard tabletop is constructed from 3/8" Grade 50 American steel. An upgrade to 1/2" Grade 50 steel is available across all models for enhanced rigidity and durability under heavier workloads. The 1/2" upgrade increases table weight by approximately 200–670 lbs depending on the model size.

Weights vary by size and configuration. The 2.5'x4' base model weighs approximately 464 lbs, while the 4'x8' standard model weighs approximately 2,000 lbs. Upgrading to 1/2" steel increases weight accordingly. Models with locking casters add approximately 30 lbs to the upgraded configurations.

Smaller tables (2.5'x4' and 4'x4') feature 16mm holes, while larger models use 28mm holes. All tables use a consistent 2" grid spacing pattern. The top row of holes on all sides is drilled and tapped — 5/8"-11 on smaller tables and 1"-12 on larger models — enabling versatile clamping and fixturing.
